Online Betting Uk | Bookmakers Lose £1M | Online Sports Betting.

As the news spread, punters made a dash for their computers to get their bets in their online sports books. Word was out that the financially troubled Weymouth Football Club was going to field their youth team against Rushden & Diamonds.
It’s being reported that more than £1 million was paid out after heavy betting action came in on Weymouth losing this match…and lose it they did. The rumour was in fact true and the home side cashed big tickets in one of the largest non-league football betting coups.
It all started when the entire team made the decision to go on strike due to not being paid so far this season and that there wouldn’t be any medical insurance for the match. That resulted in the club being forced to start the Weymouth teenage team.
Bookmakers didn’t know what to make of the sudden spike in volume for what would normally be a relatively obscure betting event. They immediately were forced to cut the odds as the money poured in and some even suspended the betting entirely.
Punters were said to be racing from one bookmaker to another and getting all they could down at their online bookmakers as word of the strike leaked out.
The obvious thought was that a team of 17 year olds would have no chance. And that proved to be right as they were drubbed 9-0 and all those who wagered against Weymouth cashed their tickets.
One bookmaker said "Normally £30,000 to £40,000 would be paid out on a match like this across the whole industry. But we paid out in the region of £100,000 and we are 20 per cent of the industry."
Steve Palmer, deputy sports editor at the Racing Post, said that the match had become "the centre of the betting universe" before the game.
"Nonleague football is one of the few sports where punters can get an edge on the bookmakers," he said. "They can have superior knowledge and the bookmakers can get caught with their trousers down."

Online Sport Betting in Todays Society

by mide mike
Online sport betting is a game of skill. For that reason online sport betting is big business all over the world. Sport betting is a popular past-time all over the world; in fact it is deeply rooted in the culture of almost all societies. Sport betting is the art of predicting sports results by placing a wager or bet on the outcome of the particular sporting event. Sport betting is competitive not only for the bettors but also for the sports books, so look around for the one that offers the type of bets that you are interested in betting on.

Betting On Sports
Sport betting is the general activity of for casting sports results by placing a bet on the outcome of a sporting event. Perhaps more so than other forms of gambling, the general acceptance and legality of sports betting differs from nation to nation. Proponents of legalized sports betting usually regard it as a hobby for sports fans that increases their interest in individual sporting events, thus benefiting the teams, leagues and players they place bets on through increased attendances and television audiences. There are professional sports bettors that make a good return on investment by betting on sports. Apart from simple wagers, betting a friend that one's favourite sports team will win its division, for instance, or buying a football "square" for the Super Bowl, sports betting is usually done through a bookmaker. Bookmaker shops that cater towards professionals usually have higher (or no) upper betting limits and offer lower vigorish, while making some of the money back on fees for withdrawals or minimum bets.

The Sport Of Laundering
Sports are part of our lives just as betting is a part of sports. Sports betting can be lots fun. Sport betting online has become more and more popular through the years. Historically, sport betting has been connected with a number of unsavoury characters, which has a lot to do with its desultory legal treatment throughout the world. Organized crime notoriously has relied upon sports betting for money laundering or funding purposes. However the general perception of sports betting is now one of a common and tolerable pass time in most societies.

Online Sports Wagering
Online sport betting provides you with numerous different alternatives because online sports books are in competition with one another. Online sports books are very safe, very friendly, and very efficient. Online sport betting has made it possible for anyone to take advantage of the great incentives offered by a lot of the online sports book providers. The most important question, before you start with online sports betting is how to decide which online bookmaker to choose. Making the correct choice when you select a bookmaker to bet with is an essential step for successful online betting.
In summary sports betting is as old as the sports themselves. Online betting, particularly sport betting is very popular and continues to become more popular each year. Online sport betting is estimated to be 5 times bigger than Las Vegas sports betting. Sports Betting is pretty simple, all you have to do is learn the ropes. Sport betting is simple to do and if you like following sports anyway, it could add to the fun of supporting your preferred team.

Horse Racing Systems- The Snare- A Review

sport world Publications have just launched a new horse racing system they have named "The Snare". It has been developed by Terry Sparkes who has been responsible for several successful systems in the past.
It makes a welcome change to have a good system which concentrates on finding winners rather than laying losers. It is true that there are some good laying systems that can make regular profits but each successful bet can only give a return of evens, less the Betfai commission. Successfully picking winners gives a much better return Although finding the winner of a race is far harder than selecting losers.
In "The snare", Sparkes uses a "Dutching System" which involves betting on more than one horse in each race to find the winner. The system finds good priced winners when the low priced favourites fail to win. The selection process only involves the first four races of the day, often only one of those four races will meet the criteria and provide a bet.
I have not "paper tested" this system myself but am relying on the past results posted by Sports World Publishing. As one of the more reliable of the companies specialising in horse I have no trouble in accepting their proof. Since the 1st October 2008 using a level stake of £50 the system has generated a profit of £17,500.
This involved 119 bets of which 79 were successful giving a return of £25,804 and 40 losing bets which lost £8,210 producing an overall profit of £17,594. The biggest priced winner during the test period was priced at 42/1 which is impressive as I can't remember the last time I had a winner priced at over 40/1.
Because you are only looking at four specific races a day it does not take very long to make your selection which can be done well before racing starts. I can see no reason why "The Snare" should not work for other than the first four races of the day but this is something that could be tested later.
There will be occasions when the market will have an inadequate liquidity for a particular horse. In this case you may have to place your bets with a bookmaker. Because of Terry Sparkes reputation many punters will be eager to try "The Snare" given the large amounts wagered on Betfair for each race it should not normally affect the price of the selections.
. However, I do have some reservations about diving in and using the suggested staking level of £50 a bet from the beginning. For this level of staking you would need a starting bank of between £2,500- £5,000. A far more sensible approach would be to begin with a level stake of £5 a bet. For this you would only need a bank of around £250- £500 to get going. Providing the system works as expected you could then increase your level stake as your bank rises.
The publishers claim that "The Snare" is an ideal system to use with a Betting Bot,a soft program designed to automate your betting. If you are a fan of auto system such as "The Grey Horse Bot" then this might be a system that will interest you. As with most of the other Sportsworld products they and Terry Sparkes are offering an email support service for all purchasers of "The Snare".

Playmaker's place at Old Trafford could be in jeopardy

Manchester City could be without influential midfielder Stephen Ireland when they make the short trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United next weekend, after the Irishman exacerbated an ankle injury in Saturday's 4-2 defeat of Arsenal at Eastlands.

Mark Hughes could be faced with picking from seriously depleted ranks for the derby with the Red Devils, as Robinho has already been ruled out of the clash with a stress fracture of the ankle and striker Carlos Tevez is out with a knee injury sustained on international duty with Argentina.

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor could also be suspended for the derby after a controversial Saturday afternoon in which the quality of his goal was overshadowed by his clash with Robin van Persie and his celebration.

"On Saturday it was touch and go whether he went out for the second-half, so we had to get him off," Hughes revealed about Ireland, who had picked up the injury during the Citizens' win over Portsmouth at Fratton Park a fortnight ago.

As for the game with United, the man who spent such a significant part of his career with the Red Devils was excited at the prospect of returning to Old Trafford to face his former club, adding: "We are really looking forward to it.

"You have to play against the big four with confidence and a real feeling that you can get something out of the game, and the way we are at the moment in terms of confidence, we couldn't be going there in better shape.

"When Arsenal pulled it back to 1-1 on Saturday, it was without doubt the kind of situation from which we would have lost last season.

"What we have now is huge in terms of the difference in mentality the team has.

"That is the really reassuring thing, because there will be times in the season when we struggle, but if we show the qualities we showed on Saturday it will sustain us for the season."

Fittness and Exercise

by olamide There are many accessories that one can choose for their skateboard. Amongst the most important accessories are the bearings! Skateboard bearings help to support the weight of your body when you do jumps and flips. Good bearings will ensure that you have a completely safe ride. If your skateboard bearings are not of good quality then you may have an accident as your board will not be able to stand the weight. Since skateboarding includes standing on your board the whole time you should make sure you get some good bearings.

There are many brands that sell bearings and each of them sells a huge range of them. There are many types of bearings available and they come in all different sizes. This makes it easy for you to find one that will fit your wheels perfectly. You can get single packs or more and you can choose according to price and quality and brand. One good option is purchasing Swiss bearings which are sold in quite a few online skateboard shops. These bearings are of the finest quality and you can be sure that they will last a long time so there is no worry about replacing them too many times. Skateboard bearings can be bought at stores but if you want the best deal you should buy them online. Online retailers offer the best prices as there is great competition between them. They all try and sell products at lower prices than other sites so as to attract more customers.

Once you choose the bearings that you want then you can place your order. ABEC-3 Single Bearing is very popular amongst skateboarders. The sites have extremely easy forms that you need to fill out with information such as your name and address and credit card number. There is no hassle in the whole process. You just need to sit at a computer and browse through the websites till you find the cheapest bearings that are still of good quality. It hardly takes any time to find the products and place your order. Some sites also give you the option to see what your board will look like if you are buying separate parts so that you can customize your board. You can check out decks as well. The decks are as important as the skateboard bearings as you stand on the deck when riding. The deck should be strong enough to carry your weight.

The criteria for choosing should include quality, price, durability and design. When you find the deck that you like, you can add that to your cart along with the best skateboard bearings, such as Bones 608 6-Ball Bearing Set. Then you can continue shopping for other things. Once you have chosen all the skateboard parts that you like then you can enter all of your information like address and credit card information and just wait for it all to be delivered to you at your home.

Oxford is situated in the South East region of England and is the county town of Oxford shire. The university is globally known for its academic high status and is one of the leading academic establishments worldwide. The buildings that make up the university structure are incredible in their architecture and are authentic in appearance.

The precise date of when it was built is unconfirmed however it is a fact that The University of Oxford dates back to the twelfth century. The institution is commonly identified as having direct competition with The University of Cambridge after the quarrel amongst the students and local residents in Oxford which lead to the evacuation of many students to Cambridge.

On behalf of the university's education facilities are many enthralling museums including The Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeologist which is historically the oldest museum in Britain. The current building was established in 1845 and can be located on Beaumont Street. Here you will find Collections of Elias Ashley alongside a wide range of archaeological and fine art collections. The interior of the museum has been heavily refurbished and is now modernized to cater to new visitors with the introduction of a gift shop and restaurant.

Another brilliant museum that is definitely worth a visit is Pitt Rivers Museum that showcases a variety of archaeological and anthropological collections. Constructed in 1884, the museum has grown from 20,000 items to 50,000 items which are predominantly donations from scholars and missionaries. The order in which the collection appears is unconventional as, opposed to the items being displayed chronologically, the items are shown according to how they were used traditionally.

For shopping visitors can go to West gate Shopping Center that is home to many popular retailers including, New Look, Sportsworld, Shoe Zone, Apple Zone, Sports Zone, Space savers, Holland & Barrett, Carphone Warehouse, Vision Express and many more fantastic stores. It is open every day of the week and also offers late night shopping on Thursdays only.

For a more cultured experience of Oxford, visitors can go to The Oxford Apollo which now goes by the name The New Theater Oxford. Theater productions here vary from Welsh National Opera, dance, ballet and major successful musicals such as Chicago. To accompany this there are regular large scale music concerts which were first initiated in the 1970's as the theater has a capacity to hold 1800 people.

If you would like a day out in the outdoors you can visit Cute slow and Sunny mead Park, the largest park in the city. It is located in the north end of Oxford and has a diverse choice of facilities for all ages such as a children's play area and sports grounds. The Cut slow area within the park has cricket and football pitches that can be hired for the day by visitors. You can also play a game of miniature golf, basketball and tennis. The Sunny mead area found towards the south of the park is primarily geared towards teenagers as there are skating parks, basketball courts and a youth shelter.

Wenger - ON Diving Deal Issue

By Olamide

Arsène Wenger is proud that British football abhors diving but the Arsenal manager still feels there are bigger problems to solve in football at the moment.

The issue has been in the news after the award of two game-changing penalties in matches involving the Emirates Stadium side this week. The first revolved around Eduardo on Wednesday and the second concerned Wayne Rooney, of Manchester United, on Saturday.

Both spot-kicks took centre stage in Wenger’s post-match press conferences and, although the Frenchman argues that the very concern about diving is a strength, he feels the strong-arm tactics of certain players needs more urgent attention in the modern game.

“I like that [focus on the diving problem],” he said. “I believe that is a quality in this country. In some countries it is a quality to dive. I’m still more proud to be part of England where they fight against it.

“But there are other points that are for me more urgent. There are players who play only to make fouls who are never punished and they get a result out of the game. That for me is more anti-football than a player like Eduardo who did what Eduardo did.
